Blah!

The last time Quinn threw up was about 6 months or so ago. He threw up tonight. The big difference of 6 months means he understood me when I said, "Okay, just sit there and Mommy will go get something to clean you up with." As opposed to 6 months ago when he would throw up and then proceed to walk and/or crawl around making clean up not fun at all.
Why did he throw up? He's been battling a fever since last night - that might have something to do with it. The nurse on the doctor's hotline said I should wait 3 days to bring him in, but I think I'm going to be pestering them for an appointment tomorrow since we leave for a little weekend trip to Kentucky on Friday.
Oh - and another difference between now and 6 months ago is that Quinn was able to make up sign for the action of throwing up. He holds his hand to his mouth, then has it come down onto his chest and lap - much like his throw up went. He ends this little communication by saying, "uck." Maybe next time he needs to throw up he'll give me the signal ahead of time...
