Here I am - my own little corner of the world. I'm a disney-crazed mother of two energetic boys and wife to one wonderful husband. I can run, but can I cook?
So remember last week I said I was going to Wow you with some amazing firework pictures? They turned out okay, but I gave up before the grand finale, because I didn't think that we were getting any good ones. (my husband, who may or may not have had a few drinks, was in charge of the camera since I was in charge of Liam). I did set up the settings and the tripod - but couldn't situate myself to actually take the pictures. Maybe next year.
Our plans to see fireworks got rained out yesterday... so no fireworks or bright and sunny fourth of July pictures from me. Hopefully next week you'll see some from the Fifth of July - we've got plans to go and see some fireworks tonight and the weather is supposed to be great. I even looked up how to photograph fireworks, so hold your breath, people, you might see some amazing things here next week. Then again, maybe not.
Most of these are just a peek into our week - with a few left overs from flying out of Arizona. I love taking shots out of the airplane window. My mind has been busy thinking about this.
Okay, so most of these were taken a few weeks ago while I was in Arizona. I've since had my laptop taken away from me for ELEVEN days - could you imagine? Also, I've been feeling sort of off with my picture taking abilities lately and haven't really taken any worthy for the weekly winner set. My mind keeps changing - one day I think I should just "give up on the fancy stuff" and the next day I'm thinking I should try to join the local photography club. So anyway, it was very difficult to choose just a few from more than 500 pictures that I took in just a few days. As the days continue I'll be trying to share more stories of the trip with some more of my favorite pictures - I did save some, because I want to tell the story that goes with them! Enjoy!
We started this week with temps near zero and lots of snow around. Yesterday it was almost sixty - so we headed to the zoo. Anxious to try my new camera there most of our pictures are from there!
I realize the pictobrowser is a little too large for my layout here, but I want you to be able to see the whole picture. Enjoy!
If you want to see some amazing pictures of our dog flying in the snow, be sure to check out this post. There were too many great ones of him flying through the air to include in the weekly winners!
