Happy Monday - It's Me!


So, yeah, let me brag for a moment.

I've been feeling good.

I love that the sun is out more.

I've been taking my vitamins regularly again (why do I neglect them in the winter when I'm sure I need them the most?)

I have more energy. (Don't get me wrong, I still crave an afternoon nap, but can usually work through the urge.)

I've changed my morning routine. I think this is what's doing it for me. Tomorrow will be week 4 of me waking up early. My friend sent me this DVD. My favorite quote from good ol' Rodney is, "The morning is a precious time. Too often people try to stay in bed until the last possible second leaving their morning feeling rushed. The morning sets the tone for the entire day." It sounds crazy, but I actually find myself just stepping right out of bed and heading straight towards the DVD player for some morning yoga. I do this Monday-Friday and guess what. On the weekends? I still wake up early (before Quinn is allowed out of his room) and I just sit and drink some coffee... though I'm thinking of adding yoga to my weekends as well. I always was a morning person, but I think I've been convinced that it's not normal to want to wake up any earlier than you need to.

Oh, and also, my gym (location) closed, so I joined a new gym. More on that later. But it makes me happy.
