Done and Done (almost)

I made it out nice and early this morning despite a broken breast pump. (That's right, my pump no longer pumps. Note to anyone out there using an electric pump: if for some reason your milk gets into the tubing stop right away, even if it continues to work. It will suck that milk into the motor and kill it. Kill it.) Luckily (?) Liam woke up around 3:30 and wouldn't go back to sleep without nursing. My plan was to wake up at 4am to pump, but since the pump died I didn't think I'd go at all. But then Liam, he emptied me and away I went. First stop: Toys R Us - the kids are done - nieces and nephews included. Next stop: The mall - Carson's, Disney Store, and JC Penney's. Every year (okay, for 2 years) I really love Carson's "Door Busters" sweaters between 10 and 20 bucks - nice sweaters that are normally 60 bucks. And the Disney Store always has great deals plus an additional 20% off until 10am. Plus, if you use the Disney' Credit Card and redeem your points it's pretty much free. And Penney's was okay. The Final Stop: Babies R Us. I'm way more excited about this very expensive purchase than I should be. If I knew my pump was going to die I would have gotten this 6 months ago. Actually, if I knew my pump was going to die I would have gotten this one instead. I was having a hard enough time jusitifying spending over 200$ I was not about to be able to add on another $50 for the following features: "Let-down mode: Simulates your baby’s initial rapid suckling to initiate faster milk flow.Expression mode: Simulates your baby’s slower, deeper suckling for maximum milk flow in less time." Especially since I haven't had any trouble with my old out-dated pump. I was at Toys R Us at 5am and home by 8:30. Who's left on my list? My mom, my Secret Santa for work, and Mike.
