Attitude Adjustment

I decided this week that I needed to change my way of thinking about all the stuff that needs to be done this holiday season. So instead of thinking of everything on a "To Do" list I've decided to try and think of it as my "I Get To" list. The other day I got to take Liam and Quinn to see Santa. Quinn has always loved Santa. And still does. Liam got a huge smile on his face when he saw the jolly ol' fellow. The picture turned out okay. Quinn asked Santa for some cars and puzzles. That's it - I better enjoy this while I can. Soon his list will be endless.
I also got to put up our Christmas Tree (on Thanksgiving - Dan, it was snowing and Quinn said, "It's snowing! Time to put up our Christmas Stuff!" How could I argue with that?). Quinn was great at helping put the ornaments up and I didn't even go back and fix the bottom half of the tree once he was done.
