What's More Important

I'm asking for your opinions, people.
Here's what I've been thinking about for the past few weeks.
Which of these is more important:
1. Helping Liam find and keep a good nap schedule?
OR
2. Letting Quinn go to preschool 2 days a week?

Here's a little explanation.
Quinn is just turning three next month, which means after this school year he'll still have two more years of preschool. Liam tends to wake up around 6:30 or 7am, which makes him ready for a nap between 8 and 9am. Quinn needs to be driven to school at 9am. Some days I put Liam down early, like at 8 and then wake him up at 8:45 to take Quinn to school. We come home, he plays for awhile, then I wake him up again to pick up Quinn from school. Some days I keep Liam up (and it is not easy) then put him down after we drop off Quinn. He doesn't sleep as long because he's overtired.
Here's what happens on the weekends - Liam wakes up between 6:30 and 7, goes down for his nap around 8:45 and sleeps for at least two hours. A nice morning nap, then we have lunch and he takes another nice nap. Because I'm not waking him up or forcing him to stay awake.
Quinn loves school. Every day I pick him up he's got a huge smile on his face. When I peak in the classroom he's smiling and singing the songs. He doesn't really play with the other kids too much - maybe because they can't understand him? Or maybe because they're all so young?
I used to like my alone time in the morning, but now that I'm working again I tend to miss Quinn while he's at school.
So...weigh in you all (lurkers included). What's more important? A Baby's sleep schedule? preschool? What do you think???

My gut says school is more important but I'm so not qualified to have an opinion I feel unworthy just mentioning my thoughts.

I'm not qualified to answer, either, but I'm going to say take Quinn to school. Two days Liam will have to wait a little later or miss his nap. In the grand scheme, I think Quinn's time at school is more important, especially if he likes it. Just my thoughts. Whatever you decide will be best for you guys!

I agree with both Christie and Leah. I do know after 25 years of infant daycare, that naps make for a more content baby. But I do believe that they adapt. I also know that what's best for everyone, is a happy Mom and Dad. Oh, by the way, nice site and adorable children. I like thier names too.

Oooh, I would say Liam's nap, but I only have one, and I KNOW how important that morning nap is to the Little Man!

Is there an afternoon only program for Q?

We homeschool, so I say let him sleep! He can learn plenty at home and he gets to enjoy YOU! Arrange playdates or join mommy groups for him to play with other kids.
