How to Keep a Baby Happy When He Hasn't Slept in Almost Four Hours

So Friday Liam's schedule was totally off during the day. He took a great nap from 10-1pm, but then didn't nap again until 3, and that was a 30 minute snooze. So, I got home around 4 to a baby who had very little sleep. I know Liam and I knew he wouldn't take another nap. The next option was bedtime. So I tried to postpone that as late, or as close to normal, as possible. Here's what works for us:
After dinner - a nice long bath. Liam loves to play with the water coming out of the faucet.
After bath - naked time on the floor. Man - I've never seen that boy move so much. Just dry him off and lay him on his blanket butt-naked. He rolled around, smiled, cooed, and had a grand ol' time for almost 30 minutes!
After naked time - put the PJs on. Take your time, unless the baby is screaming. If baby is screaming,
Put PJs on quickly and then take a tour of the house. Check all the doors to make sure they're locked, turn lights off, look at the Baby in the Mirror, etc.
Finally - only 15 minutes off from "normal" nurse baby and get him ready for bed.
I was pretty amazed that I was able to keep him content for so long by myself. Usually, Mike and I tag-team Liam in the evening.
