Pain

Since this may be the last baby we have...I've been thinking about what I won't miss about having a baby and what I will. In regards to labor/delivery:

I will NOT miss:
the pains of contractions
the pain of having a second epidural put in, after the first one didn't work
the pain in my back the following two days from the epidural attempts
the pain in my bottom area, from, well, you know

I will miss:
the feeling of actually pushing a baby out of me - it did not hurt like I thought it would...it was a strange, but wonderful feeling
the rush of emotion when you hear your baby cry for the first time
and the rush of emotion when the doctor places the baby on your chest for the first time
