I went and saw Wicked with some girls from work this past Friday. It was AWESOME. I forgot how much I truly love live music. You can feel it in your body. The story line was pretty good and there are two songs from the show that I can't stop singing. I even bought a shirt with the word Popular across the chest - and it's pink. And fitted. That was one of my favorite songs: Pop - u - lar. "It's not about aptitude, it's the way you're viewed, so it's very shrewd to be. - Very very popular like me." The other song I loved was Loathing. "unadultered loathing. For your face, your voice, your clothing..." If they had a shirt that said loathing across the chest I may have gotten that one instead.
It was a great night - we took a limo down, I got car sick (as I usually do in traffic) and we had to stop at a ghetto McDonalds. Ten white girls in a limo stopping at this place was just a bit scary. But don't worry, we had Val, our trusty limo driver, to protect us.
