Can you describe your keys?

So, sometime ago I lost a set of my keys. And they are truly lost. No big deal...I've been using Mike's set for my car and things have been fine. We keep putting off getting another set made, because that involved calling the dealer and well, anything that involves a phone call in this house gets put off until, well, forever. (The other day, in near zero temperatures, Mike said he'd rather drive out and get something for dinner than call Jimmy John's or a pizza place. So, off he went in the cold for some burgers.)
Now, last night Mike was going to take my car to put air in the tires (gosh darn cold weather) and then to the grocery store. "Where's your keys?" He asks. "Did you look in my coat? In my purse? Shoot. I don't know. I had them when we went to Kohl's." See, we took Mike's truck to Kohls since my tires needed air. And I distinctly remember grabbing my keys, even though I didn't really need them. So, the last time I saw them was when I put them in my coat pocket prior to the trip to Kohls. Ahh. So Mike goes out in the frigid cold weather looking on the ground and in the truck for my keys. I look all over the house thinking, "this is the ONLY set for the Ford. I cannot lose these." And we didn't find them.
So...I called Kohls and asked if they found a set of keys. And she asks me to describe what they look like! What? Well, since it's my "extra" set it's pretty basic. A clicker thing to lock/unlock the door, one black car key, and two or three house keys. That's all. Now, my other set, the forever lost set, has a Jewel, Dominicks, and PetSmart preferred cards, a piece of a clarinet, one black car key, a clicker to lock/unlock, and about five house keys. I never thought I'd have to describe my keys to someone as if they were a missing child. "What was he wearing? How much does he weigh?" Those questions I obsessively ask myself about Quinn whenever we're out and about so that I have the answers ready to give. (sick, I know) But my keys, my keys I've never paid much attention to (hence the two lost sets).

Oh...And as it turns out Kohls did have my keys and from the time I said to Mike, "Go there, now." He had ten minutes before they closed. And the lady firmly told me, "If he gets here and the doors are open then he can come in, but we're not going to wait around for him." The lady also told me my keys had some strange circle thing on the ring...Oh yeah...I thought...That's what hooks onto Mike's other set. Geez, thanks. He did make it in time.

I no longer have that clarinet piece, which makes me sad. That was on the set that's lost FOREVER. But yes, it was from high school.
