And so it seems

And so it seems that the first night of every new class I think to myself, "What the hell have I gotten myself into? Maybe I should drop." And then the second night of class, "Okay, I can do this." The class I'm currently taking is more for people going into administration (which I've considered, but as of yet aren't going that way). However, this class has already started me thinking deeply about my beliefs of education and what exactly is curriculum ~ way more than during my undergraduate career in which I had to write my own philosophy, which basically just said what everyone else was saying. But this class, this class has me thinking. It also is making me realize just how much principals do on a daily basis - and why they're there until sometimes 8 or 9 at night. I think I'm going to like this class, but it has already kicked my ass with assignments and group work and what not. The other neat thing, since it is for people going into administration, there are a ton more guys. Being in a class with mostly men does change the tone just a bit. And it's something I'm not used. At work there are 3 men, 2 of which are the custodians.
