I feel as though I'm nesting. And no, I'm not pregnant. Though, Mike's cousin, who had a daughter two days before Quinn was born is pregnant and due in April. Yikes.
Back to my nesting, I spent pretty much all day re-arranging the basement. We moved the poker table to the side with the pool table, added a corner piece to the sectional, moved the TV to a different corner, and turned the computer desk so it's up against the back of the couch. It's pretty hard to describe, but it's really nice when you're sitting on the couch watching TV and a little cramped when you're sitting at the computer desk. Our plan is to eventually get a lap top (and go wireless throughout the house) and replace this big old desk with a slimmer one. Slim is in, you know. I brought myself a label maker last week and just finished re-labling all our files...making new files, cleaning out old paper; if you were to look in my file drawer right now you might think I'm a bit obsessive. Which is okay for you to think, because it could possibly be a bit true. The label maker is SO cool. I'm a little disappointed that I cannot think of other files to label. Give me time, give me time. I also brought some things to hopefully get some of the stuff in my little office nook organized a bit more. If I had an unlimmited budget my house would be the most organized house on the block. Now if only I can convince Mike to let me throw some stuff away/sell it in a garage sale. Then, my basement would be wonderful...
