Let's forget about this for awhile, shall we? And let's move on to more important things. Such as?
Next week is my birthday! Woohoo.
I don't normally have a list of things I'm wanting, but, boy oh boy, there's a list this year.

What? You weren't planning on spending that much on me?
Silly me.
Here's a list just for you -

My favorite socks.

My favorite water bottle - I already have a green, pink, and purple one.
Also - gift cards, of course!, are always welcome. Starbucks, Ann Taylor Loft, Target, Kohls - all acceptable.
Ha. That was fun. =)

Not greedy you, worthy you. And you've got some great things on the list. My birth present to myself was an iPod (the newer kind that plays movies and such) so I'm good there but I like the looks of that water bottle. Who makes it? And why do you like it so much? Also, we got a Flip and LOVE IT. The problem with having one, of course, is that you find yourself taking way more film of your kids than you might have thought possible. (This and all of the photos have prompted a purchase of two hard drives and one Time Capsule for backup and archiving purposes.) Happy pre-birthday!
I've been thinking about an ipod with the excuse that I could also use it at work and that is easier than shuffling thru CDS! But then you need the speakers too :)
Oh the water bottle! It's made by Thermos - It's called an intake or something. I got all three of mine at target - but they don't have the blue one yet. =)
Here's what I love:
it fits in my car - both in the center cup holder and the side door cup holder
It also fits in the cup holder thing on the treadmill
it closes tight - so I can fill it up and throw it in my gym bag and it does not leak - at all. Also if a kid knocks it down while it's on my desk at work it will not spill. (I have a habit of closing it after each drink)
It's got like a handle type thingy on the lid - perfect for attaching the key for the locker at the gym
I like the spout that you drink out of - it's wide, but not too wide.
It also has a thing on the lid that helps you keep track of how much you've been drinking. You can turn the dial each time you fill it up. Whenever I start to get a headache I can usually look at my water bottle and see that I haven't been drinking enough.
And of course... it's bpa free and all that other stuff....
I've never been so attached to a water bottle! Crazy, right?
I was eyeing the flip at Costco today, but since the battery on my ipod ran out this morning during my run I knew I needed to buy that today - otherwise I would not be able to run tomorrow without music. So... yeah... I got myself an early bday present - a purple (changed my mind once at the apple store) nano. Now I've got to figure out how to set up different playlists and what songs to add - I only had like 70 or so on my shuffle....
Two hard drives? We just got one a few months ago.... And what is a time capsule? I mean, is it an actual Time Capsule that you can bury or something high-tech?
Yay you! Funny how we make these lists on our blogs. I did this for my last birthday to because I knew my husband and other family members would see it and act accordingly. And it allowed me to be somewhat removed from the asking.
The Flip is great! My husband recently purchased one for me (Mother's Day, and I think I posted that I wanted one ;-). They're small and easy to use and have a pretty good amount of storage---I'm a short video kind of a person.
I hope your birthday is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful :-).
Happy happy.
