Things I Feel Are More Important than Going to a Doctor For a Mystery Rash

So - I've had this strange rash appearing on my arms and legs since, oh, maybe a week or so ago. Finally on Tuesday I had our school nurse look at it and she said, "Oh. You need to go to a doctor to have that checked out." In the meantime, I've put off even calling the doctor for the following reasons.
Things That Are More Important (in my crazy mind):
  1. Staying at work for the Response to Intervention information we were discussing. (Good stuff, people. It was good stuff.)
  2. Going out with Quinn to build a bear for his birthday.
  3. Quinn's birthday dinner.
  4. Pictures with Santa.
  5. Portraits of the boys together.
  6. Keeping the boys on a schedule.
  7. More importantly - not taking them with me to the doctor.
  8. Working out.
  9. Trying on sweaters and jeans at the Gap so I would know what sizes to pick up for myself Friday morning.
  10. Getting good deals on Friday morning.
  11. Working out after shopping in the AM on Friday.
  12. Cleaning up the basement - wait - I'd rather go to the doctor than clean up the basement. So, yeah, I'll be calling the doctor Friday morning to see if I could come in. I'll be up and out of the house by 4am anyway - so hopefully they'll be open shortly after I finish shopping - around 7am.
Also - besides this strange ITCHY rash - my shoulder is killing me and I've got some strange pain on the ball of my left foot.

So, this morning I am thankful for: Thermacare heat packs, Benadryl itch relief cream, and ibuprofen.

Ummm - WHERE were you trying on sweaters and jeans with a rash that might or might not be contagious???? I'm going to stay away from trying on clothes there until you see a doctor. And now, I am wondering how many OTHER people with mystery rashes have tried on the clothes that I tried on.....

You're brave to battle the Black Friday crowds. I stay far away from that stuff. Hope you got some great deals. And that you get yourself to a doctor soon.... {wink}
