Quinn

1. Quinn was born on Thanksgiving morning.
2. Four years ago.
   
3. Quinn's mom was in labor for a LONG time.
4. Quinn's mom pushed for a LONG time.
5. Quinn's mom wasn't so sure she EVER wanted to do THAT again.
6. She did.
7. Quinn's favorite color is yellow.
8. His mom and his teacher thinks that color suits him well.
9. Quinn is usually very happy.
10. Except for when he's not.
11. Quinn still likes to do puzzles.
12. Quinn likes to watch movies.
13. Right now his two favorites include: Cars and Hercules.
    
14. Quinn stopped napping for about a week.
15. His mom thought she would die without some time to herself.
16. Quinn started napping again or will at least stay in his room for an hour.
17. This is a good compromise for him and his mom.
18. Quinn loves to eat Mac and Cheese.
19. and peanut butter and jelly.
20. Quinn likes to have orange juice in the morning
21. and oatmeal with some type of fruit and cinnamon.
22. Quinn likes pizza.
23. Quinn's mom thinks that he is very smart.
24. He can name all the upper and lower case letters.
25. He can make the sounds of all the letters.
26. When given a word he can tell you what letter it starts with.
27. He likes to try and rhyme words.
28. He does basic math in his head (one more, one less, two more, etc).
29. He remembers the names of the 6 streets it takes to get to the babysitter's house.
30. Quinn likes to try and teach his little brother things.
31. Like that grapes are GRAPES, not apples.
32. Or to say "You're welcome" not "Thank you".
33. Quinn's mom is hoping Quinn will potty train his little brother when the time is right.
34. Quinn likes his mom to make up songs at bedtime.
35. Quinn understands that his old dog, Maggie, is not going to come back.
36. Quinn wants a new dog. "A different dog. Not Maggie."
37. Quinn likes to set up his train tracks with lots of turn-arounds.
38. Quinn likes to play with his Monster Truck.
39. The Monster Truck is BAD and runs over the other toys, because it is a Bad Truck.
40. Quinn has two imaginary friends - Tommy and Quin.
41. Sometimes Tommy and Quin join us for dinner.
42. Quinn's friend Quin only has one n in his name, according to Quinn.
43. Quinn has two close friends at preschool - Noah and Aiden.
44. Quinn is convinced that when he goes to school tomorrow, on his real birthday, he'll be as tall as Aiden because he'll be 4 too.
45. Quinn goes to school two days a week.
46. Quinn loves going to school.
47. Quinn's favorite things to play with at school are the blocks and the climber.
    
48. Quinn went through a very long stage where he would cry and scream during his time outs.
49. This stopped quickly when his mom figured out to leave him alone and let him cry and scream for 4 minutes, then explain that he had to do another one, because he was crying and screaming.
50. Now Quinn takes his time outs nicely, sort of. As well as any 4 year old could take a time out.
51. Quinn takes time outs for: throwing toys, arguing, whining, stomping his feet, taking things away from his little brother, crying for no good reason.
52. Quinn is given three warnings before being told to take a time out.
53. Quinn has fallen in love with feet pajamas.
    
54. Quinn's mom is very excited about this.
55. Quinn and his little brother have 4 matching pairs of pajamas.
56. Quinn's new shoes light up.
57. Quinn's mom woke up 30 minutes earlier on his birthday to make him birthday morning muffins.
    
58. Quinn built a bear for his birthday.
59. He named that bear Teddy Boomer.
60. The bear cannot be called "Ted". Only "Teddy Boomer" according to Quinn.
