Here I am - my own little corner of the world. I'm a disney-crazed mother of two energetic boys and wife to one wonderful husband. I can run, but can I cook?
I love that when Mike gets home from work he'll take both boys outside for awhile before starting dinner. Sometimes - he'll keep them outside with him WHILE he grills. And I get to do Nothing.
I love it when D does the same thing with Henry and Beauty the wonder dog. Usually I end up in a super hot bath with a good book or my laptop dvd playing a little McDreamy from the first season of Grey's Anatomy. What do you do with all of that free time?
It usually adds up to about an hour - if he keeps them and cooks at the same time (bonus points for him!). That's usually just enough time for me to catch up on the blogs in my reader, check my work and home email (and reply to those who need it), and do some totally unnecessary Disney research. If he doesn't keep them and cook then I check blogs and email. I should do something more productive like a nice hot bath - that would do be good!
InstaMom - My wife and I found this book called Love and Respect by DR. Emerson EGGERICHS. It is revolutionizing our marriage. My wife says that she had no idea how a man does not need love as much as he needs respect. Check it out at Amazon.com. Most advice for men I have heard at least 100 times. But I signed us up for the course with no ulterior motives. You can learn whether just married or married 44 years like my wife and I. http://www.joyfulmourning.com and http://www.cpedley.com

Can I borrow your husband? Not to keep...just to give mine lessons for a day.
