Watch Your Mouth Haiku

A bit of advice
Just for all you married men
Listen up real good

When your wife tries on
Swimsuits and says, "How's this one?"
Don't you ever say

"You need more support."
No, it's not a compliment
That her boobs fall down
.
There once was a time
When she didn't need "support"
At least not that much

But after having
Gone through 2 pregnancies and
Nursing two babes

She already knows
She needs to find more support
It's just not out there
.
And your suggestion?
That it can be found in a
Catalog - yeah, right.

No matter how much
Support they claim to offer
Results will not be:

***Okay, though. In all seriousness - anyone have a secret place where they buy swimsuits that offer reasonable support. I *love* my bras, but need some help in the swimsuit department. This I knew before my husband chimed in with his opinion, which he seriously thought of as a compliment!

if you find a great swimsuit i'd be very interested.

as it is i've been hunting for something with steel belted radial reinforcement.

I have yet to find one, though halter top style swimsuits seem to help over traditional straps.

Hahaha, very cute and funny haiku, and I'm sorry that I am no help. You will find something, though, I'm sure. :)

That is the funniest thing I've read today. Men seriously have no clue sometimes. His response should have been: "Babe, that makes you look hotter than Gisele Bundchen." And then he should have made the moves to ravish you on the spot. No actual ravishing should have occurred if you were anywhere other than home...unless that's your thing. ;)

I hate swimsuit shopping. Good luck.

Funny! Next time he says you need more support, suggest to him that you get a breast reduction! Maybe that will make him think twice.

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions for you. I'm a 32 Nearly A (plus carried twins) and have my own problems finding a swimsuit. LOL!!

Good luck to you! Maybe Victoria's Secret has some that are made more like a bra?

Man, I wish I had anything left to "support." Nursing left me with 2 deflated balloons :(

Hope you find something :) Sorry I suck with no help.

If he meant it as a compliment, take it as a compliment. :)

I have been through the "easily offended" thing with my husband, and it sure was hurtful to our relationship. I'm not saying that's what YOU did, but it is what I did.

Hey, if that's all that's not the same, you're doing good, Girl! :)

good luck, aren't husbands just totally oblivious at times?

Have you looked into Lands End? They may not be cheap..but I think they have every which a way style one could think of. I'm pretty sure they have some with that extra lift. Just a thought.

Great haiku! Don't you love how clueless husbands are with the swimsuit comments?

Inquiring minds want to know: Is he still breathing?

LOL

Have a great weekend.

And this was a great haiku!
