Okay so that video took me way too long to get online for y'all. But I rarely shoot video and then rarely post. You'll hear more of my woes tomorrow for Haiku Friday. (And if you were on twitter tonight you know all about it). Anyway...
Of course he likes it! It's a popcycle. What's not to love? (don't worry, it's an "all natural" orange popcycle - no added sugars - how else am I going to get him to get fruits and veggies?)
Oh and that voice in the background is The Very Crabby Older Brother. Who at the end of the video asked for the millionth time if we could go outside RIGHT NOW. So I had to turn off the video while I told him to Stop Asking or he will take a time out. 'Cuz really, there's only so many times I can listen to him whine that he wants to go outside and can we go outside now? or how about now? or maybe in one minute? in one minute can we go outside? how many minutes until we can go outside? I want to go now. Let's go outside now. I have an idea, let's go outside. And all of that after I've already said No.
Oh and that canister on the counter. Yeah. Those are Maggie's ashes. We cannot decide where to put them, but come on. That canister? A little too cheerful to hold such a thing, don't you think? That's what they came in from the vet about 4 days after she died. We're thinking of burying them in the backyard, but Mike's in the middle of a project that is going to take awhile and that's where we'd want them to go. So, until then, it goes right on the kitchen counter, which come on, for those of you who know Maggie, know that she'd love to be in the kitchen. Well, not really, because of the hard wood floor, but yes, because of the food, especially with two little ones eating or not eating in the kitchen.
