Today I saw things
Through the freezing pouring rain
These things give me hope
Little tiny buds
Purple flowers springing up
Tulips starting too
Earlier this week
I listened to a cardinal
No camera with me
I looked up and saw
Red bird, blue sky, brown branches
Beautiful picture
Later that same day
A family of deer ran past
We watched them in awe
I enjoyed moments
Field trip with my preschoolers

Great Ku! I am anxious for Spring to take over the Winter!
wow, reading your ku i can feel spring!!
Yea Spring! Great haiku!
Happy Friday!
Spring is a'comin!
Beautiful, hopeful 'ku. :)
Our spring is late, too. The tulip festival has been postponed. The dear things won't show their faces in this cold weather. :P
yay spring!!! lovely 'ku.
Marvelous Haiku
enriching my awareness
of the life you lead.
Hard it is for me
to remember so many
folks like you are still
waiting for Spring and
watching for the little signs
... winter’s moving on.
Once again I have
shared some ‘color’ from my yard
if you need a lift ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
My Haiku Friday posts this week are:
Joyful Burst of Color and
Of Oddities and Change
So glad you are noticing the slow change. Want our pollen? I'm in hay fever hell!
Yeah for spring! It is about time!
Oh, it sounds so hopeful! Still have snow here and haven't seen much green - no flowers. Bwahhh. Cute 'ku!
