Accent: I don’t have an accent – though sometimes I slip into a Southern accent – just for fun, but it’s not a very good one.

Essential make-up: foundation – or tinted moisturizer

Favorite perfume: Most perfumes give me a headache if I wear it all day. I do have Happy By Clinique – and can handle it for a night out.

Gold or Silver: my wedding ring is platinum and most of my jewelry is silver.

Hometown: A suburb of Chicago

Interesting fact: I learned how to “Shoot the Duck” today during ice skating lessons. That and my maiden name didn't have any vowels in it. None - not even y.

Job title: Teacher

Kids: two of my own and 37 students.

Living arrangements: Three bedroom house – old – small – but very close to work.

Mom’s Birthplace: Hmmm…Chicago or somewhere else. I don’t know. But I do know that she slept in a dresser drawer for the first month or so.

Number of apples eaten in last week: 3

Overnight hospital stays: four – one for each kid plus one when I was a kid and fractured my elbow and another when I was a teenager and fractured my back (while skiing down a bunny hill)

Phobia: Entomophobia

Religious affiliation: Hmmm…attend a Catholic Church, but never been baptized. And my attend I mean go a few times a year.

Siblings: two brothers and one sister. Three sister-in-laws and two brother-in-laws

Time I wake up: The alarm goes off at 5:30 – I’m lucky if I sleep all the way until then.

Unnatural hair color: I don’t dye my hair at all. It’s sort of a dark blonde.

Vegetable I refuse to eat: Brussel sprouts.

Worst habit: BLOGGING

X-rays: arm, back, foot, toe, teeth

Yummy food I make: I make a really kick arse punch - everyone at work loves it. But I rarely cook, or bake, so really - all I've got is my punch.
