What a day. The following are things I actually said to Mike at one point or another during the day.
"Mike! Mike! Wake Up! It's 6 o'clock. Shit. I forgot to set the alarm. WAKE UP."
"Have you seen Quinn's permission slip for that field trip to the library?"
"Oh you found us. I think my phone is in the car and I was going to borrow someone's phone in 5 minutes if you didn't find us."
"You pay for dinner. I think I left my Disney Credit Card in my other pants."
"Where'd Quinn's other mitten go?"
"I can't find my phone in the car."
"Do you have a key to my car?"
"Have you seen two envelopes ready to be mailed?"
"I can't go look at the pictures tonight. LOST is on and I have no idea where the TiVo remote is, so I wouldn't be able to watch it later."
"Where's my other shoe?"
Seriously - all things said to him today. I will not even tell you what his replies were. And at some point today I heard that ABC or is it NBC, hmmm, one of them is featuring a story about why mom's forgot so much. I actually don't forget too much (well, except I've never been good at remembering birthdays), but I always remember doctor's appointments, conferences, the theme at Quinn's preschool, who's house we were at for last Easter, how many more days 'til Easter, Quinn's shoe size, Quinn's clothing size, Liam's clothing size, Liam's medicine, etc. etc. So, I wonder if this news story will tell me why I always misplace things - now if only I can remember what channel it's on. And if only I can stay up past 9:30.

As the little one where the remote is. I've had to buy an extra HDTV remote and an extra dvd player remote. Of course, as soon as I bought them, the lost ones appeared.
I could go on, but you wouldn't remember anyway...
