These are a few of my favorite things...

My first attempt at a Thursday Thirteen!
1. I really wanted a superhero necklace for Christmas. I even sent Mike the link. Big hint, right? Anyway...he MADE this one for me. He Made It. I love it. It fits perfectly and makes me feel like a girl again after my last super-short hair cut. It's way better than a superhero necklace, in my opinion.

2. I was dreading this winter with Liam. This little coat has been great - it's not too bulky, but keeps him nice and warm on all the trips to drop Quinn off somewhere.

3. I really love this booster seat. I took me awhile to find one that Quinn would be able to fit his legs under our old table - a lot of them had sides that were too high. This one is great; there's no buckles, but the material helps keep it on the chair. It's easy to transport and came with it's own carrying case. The only thing I don't like is that it has the word Baby on it. It's for kids 3 and up (Quinn started using it when he was 2 and was fine, but if you have a kid who doesn't sit still you might want to wait awhile before going for something without a belt).

4. These nursing pads are great. What more can I say?

5, 6, and 7. Part of my Mary Kay collection. My nighttime and morning rituals.

8. We bought this Lazy Boy rocking chair when we were pregnant with Quinn. I've spent many many early mornings with my babies. This chair is perfect - the arms aren't too high, it doesn't rock too easily (like gliders - I hate gliders), and it just so comfy.

9. My display frame - I wasn't too sure about this when I first got it, but now I love it. It's magnetic and allows me to display some pictures before putting them into my albums. It takes about ten minutes to put together and looks great!

10. DCT - I discovered this stuff in college and have been using it at least twice a day ever since.

11. I rarely cook. Almost never. But when I do I love to use the crockpot. Today I am feeling ambitous. I invited Quinn's cousin Henry over for a play date AND I put together some BBQ chicken in the crockpot. Go me!

12. I wanted these canisters for such a long time and finally splurged and got them from Crate and Barrel. We have a small kitchen with no pantry so there was always cereal boxes, oatmeal, and sugar left on the counter. This looks so much better.

13. My albums. These books hold stories and pictures of my life since high school until now.
