Haiku Excuses - Where Have You Been?

Report cards, scrapbooks
That’s where I’ve been all this week
Busy doing stuff

Christmas album done
Over 200 pictures
So much red and green

There’s still more pictures
Birthdays, concerts, everydays
Should be done next week

36 students
“Proficient” or “in progress”
Each in their own time

Writing narratives
Think of something for each one
Can I use haikus?

“Plays well with others
Needs to keep hands to himself
Work on letters too!”

“Yippee! He’s reading.
Let’s teach him some modesty.
Needs to stop bragging.”

“He’s just not ready
One more year would do him good
August birthdays suck.”

“Seems to enjoy school
She always participates.
Brings joy to our class!”

That crazy teacher!
Parents would talk about me
I think she’s lost it!

Ohmygosh ... reminds me of what life what like for the 34 years I taught in public schools! How fun to write "comments" in Haiku. Wish I'd thought of that way back when.
Hugs and blessings,

Wow, that must feel awesome to be so productive. I wish I could relate. I so need to work on scrapping too. I'm 4 months behind.

*le sigh*.

I think parents would be amazed. I can't believe it. You're on such a roll. You have a three year old reading? Wow.
