Bad Parenting with Photos

You know. There's this evil voice inside my head. And if I listened to that voice I would be a very bad parent. Like when that voice wants me to say, "Quinn, you're kicking ass on that puzzle." Or, "You kicked that puzzle's ass." That's right. I want to tell my 3 year old son that "He Kicks Ass." That same voice also tells me I should go sneak up on Quinn and say, "Boo!" right after I convinced him that it's okay...you can go and turn your light on, then it won't be dark anymore. See, he's had this thing about shadows and monsters lately. So...evil voice - I will not go and scare him while he's turning his light on. I just won't. At least not today.

Check out that tongue action while the little guy thinks.

I thought we were finished with this stomach bug/GI Virus, but apparently Liam was not. At least I sort of hope that's why he threw up at dinner tonight. I mean, I hope it's that. Otherwise, What the frick? And just so you know, when I read or write WTF? I think to myself, "What the frick?"

They put out a Winter Storm warning that was to start at 6pm. This picture was taken out of my window around 3pm. hmmm...seems to be things can only get worse.

Guess who wrote his name and blew me away the other day? Wow. His teacher said they were going to start working on it and I thought, "Yeah, okay. I don't think he's ready, but whatever." And after we painted a picture for Grandma's birthday I said, "Let's write your name." I knew he could do the Q, we've been working on that for awhile, but when I went to help him he said, "no, Let me try this." And he did it. I was so surprised I said, "Wow. You kicked ass on writing your name." Okay, I didn't really say that, or did I???
