What?

Quinn's doctor wanted us to have his hearing checked because of his speech. So after a few months of postponing making the appointment I finally got my act together and took him in today. As expected, he did beautifully and has no hearing problem at all. Mike doesn't believe me.

As Quinn and I are walking out of the office we found Mike and Liam waiting for us.
Me: He did great. The doctor said there's nothing wrong with his ears.
Quinn: What? What Mommy?
Mike: (just laughs)

On the way to the elevator:
Me: Quinn, you get to press the buttons this time. (Since on the way up I forgot I was with a toddler who LOVES to press the buttons and I, oh my god, yes, I pressed the buttons! Oh the nerve! Luckily, Quinn's little outburst at this awful act of parenting was quickly stopped with the promise of him being able to press the buttons next time.)
Quinn: What?

Yes, we went through many tests with the doctor and his hearing is fine.
