Just got this from my superintendent:
Like many of you, I awoke this morning to the news that, effective immediately, all schools are required to start each day with a moment of silence. Until I have had an opportunity to review the legislation and rules, we will not be implementing a moment of silence in our schools. Therefore, as teachers and other staff, feel free to plan the start of your day as you typically have in the past. After review and staff input, I will make a decision on how we will proceed.
Have a great weekend.
His Name
His O. Name, Superintendent
Interesting. And no, I didn't wake up this morning to the news to hear this.
