Getting Crafty

Since Quinn's birthday is coming up next month I asked him what he wanted his cake to look like. His response? "A Puzzle" Not a dinosaur, not a car, not Toy Story, not something I can easily buy or make. For his first birthday we made two cakes - one shaped like Pooh Bear and one shaped like his honey (hunny) pot. For his second birthday we made a cake shaped like Elmo. Easy. We got the pans and made the cakes. I went to Party City and got invites, cups, napkins, plates, etc. to match the "theme". This year? I'll be getting crafty. I'm working on the invites now and planning the cake (and possibly cookies) in my head and also thinking about all the other stuff. This is actually more fun than just buying the character stuff. I'll post pics of everything once it's all said and done.
