Here I am - my own little corner of the world. I'm a disney-crazed mother of two energetic boys and wife to one wonderful husband. I can run, but can I cook?
I read that No Cry Sleep Solution and thought it was okay - I was a little put off by the author's tone in the beginning. I don't think people who choose to let their children cry it out are evil monsters who are purposefully being bad parents. I guess you have to try whatever you can to get your kid to sleep, eh?
I was put off my her one as well - both times I read it - when Quinn was 5 months old and I was VERY sleep deprived and again while I was pregnant with Liam. I really like the Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child book - it offers a variety of solutions and talks about the science of it all - natural sleep cycles, the importance of sleep, etc. It's a little dry, but fit my Type A personality perfectly.
