But can't see spending that much, especially since I plan on buying at least 4. I really like that they're Waldorf based - in one of my classes while working on my master's there was a girl that taught at a Waldorf school. A lot of people thought she was a little nuts, but it was refreshing to hear some of her philosophies and those of the school.
I really want to get Liam noukies, but cannot find a site that is based in the US that sells the little lovies. Plenty of them sell the stuffed animals. Quinn did say he'd give Liam his hippos, but I'm not sure we should do that.

P.S. Waldorf education is HUGE out here. I like some of the philosophy, but some people really take it to the extreme. Is Waldorf not around in the midwest? I can't remember. How bout Montessori? There's 1 school in Peoria. That's big out here too. So is "unschooling." Have you heard of that?
I don't know of any Waldorf schools around here. That girl that was in my class taught in the west somewhere (go figure). Montessori is all over the place, especially preschools, but the trouble is finding one that's a true Montessori school and not just using the name. I've been thinking of putting Quinn into a Montessori preschool this year and next and then a "regular" preschool for his year before kindergarten. And unschooling?? I think I may have read about that at some point, but cannot remember much, if anything, about it...
