If It's Not One Thing...

Okay. So you'd think that Liam was our first with the amount of times we've either been to or called the doctor. I went again Monday to have his color checked, because he looked really yellow. All was fine there.
Then last night Mike gave him a bottle of formula so that I could sleep for more than 2 hours at a time. And that was at 10:30. Starting at 2 am Liam was spitting up (a lot) every hour. And the spit up was yellow. So we called the doctor. And then Liam started with some diarrhea. So off to the doctor we went. Doctor (and I) think it was a reaction to the formula...so she gave us some samples of a hypoallergenic formula (that's really expensive) in case we want to try the bottle again and gave me a new list of foods to avoid. The good news is I can eat fruit. I have to avoid dairy, eggs, and nuts. NO PEANUT BUTTER. ugh. If this doesn't work then Liam probably has reflux and would be put on some medicine, like Prilosec. If this does work then I keep up with my diet restrictions until he's 4 months old. At which point I would figure out what to add with the doctor's advice.
He's still spitting up after eating and not eating for as long as he used to, but he's still wetting his diaper which is what we're to watch for now.
Amy - if you want I've got a thing of formula I can give you..it's Similac Advance.
