Why is it that anytime I go to do something it takes me twice as long as it should. For example: just now (or rather over an hour ago) I came downstairs to accomplish two tasks: 1. upload pictures from our digi-cam and 2. print labels to use at work tomorrow since my work printer never prints labels right. So, I went to upload my pictures into Memory Manager (which I LOVE) and was reminded that I had a free download to update to the newest version). So I went ahead and started that...after I tried to print the labels for work. At which point I ran out of ink. I knew I had another ink cartridge (I buy them two at a time and when I use the second one I'll go get another set of two - ever since I had a paper due and NO ink). So, I started the download, and started searching for the ink. I remembered even writing BLACK INK on the plain white box so I could find it easier. I searched and searched which led to me cleaning off our desk, some shelves, and then giving up. After I gave up, of course I found the ink. RIGHT NEXT TO THE PRINTER. Makes sense, doesn't it??? SO I just printed the labels, the download is done, but I can't upload my pictures now because Mike's clothes just buzzed in the dryer and if I don't get them hung up right away they get wrinkled. So I'll have to either come back down to work on the pictures or forget about it for tonight. I think it's time we went wireless... All that took well over the 20 minutes it should have and then I had to write about it here.... =)
Oh - and on another note (as the clothes get wrinkled) - we let Quinn play in his sprinkler today. He hated it the first time, but this time thought it was fun to run up to it, touch the water, and run away. When we were done with that we let him play with just the hose. He had so much fun and Mike and I were laughing so hard watching him. After awhile he figured out he could make Mike run and scream by pointing the water at him! I would have grabbed the camera to get some good shots, but I didn't want to miss the action. So next time...
