From Bad to Worse to Good

I just got back from an interesting shopping experience. I was looking for a dress or skirt/shirt combo to wear to the preschool graduation/show this Monday and possibly also to my cousins summer wedding. So my first stop was J.Jill - where my experience was awful thank you to some sales ladies who didn't seem to interested in helping me find a nicer shirt to wear with some VERY cute skirts. I wasn't too upset, until I saw the same lady helping someone else with the exact same issue. Her way of handling me was to point me in the direction of some shirts. The other lady? (Who happened to be dressed as if she just got off work and I was dressed as I normally do on my days with Quinn - no make up, jeans, a fitted shirt, and gym shoes.) Well, she took her and pulled shirts off shelves for her. Yes, so I put my things down and left.
My next stop was Coldwater Creek where I was greeted much better by the sales ladies, but once I started trying on various dresses and skirts realized that I was too young to shop there. Nothing really fit - and I felt so old in some of those dresses. Ugh. I was thinking where the h*** am I supposed to shop? I feel too old in some stores and too young in others.
So...I finally ended up at Ann Taylor Loft. Where I wasn't helped, but not due to people being rude, they were extremely busy. I was asked if I needed anything, which I didn't. I found TONS of cute stuff. I got a very fun dress, some Gauchos (so fun!), and some cute shirts. Plus I saved 20% by opening a charge card there. PreQuinn and PrePregnancy with him I used to shop at Ann Taylor all the time. I guess I just forgot it was there!
I'm so glad things worked out there - I don't think I could have handles another bad shopping experience.

I know it took me 10 days to get here...anyway...

Coldwater Creek? We are WAY too young. And that snooty sales lady at J. Jill reminds me of the movie pretty woman.
