Happy May!

I cannot believe it's May already. It's a little bit scary with all that is going on right now in my life. I'm just finishing up a class for my Master's degree - which I will get in ONE year. And the end of the school year - oh my god - I can't even list all the things that need to get done before June 7th. Two of the biggest are REPORT CARDS and our annual end of the year show/graduation. And then there's all the little stuff that just adds up and up and up. And then there's my Avon Walk - which I met the fundraising goal for just this past week! WOoHOo! But, this walk has had me training during the weekend with long walks taking up to three or four hours...and it's the weekend before the prementioned end of the year show/graduation. I knew all of this when I signed up for it, but what I didn't know is how busy I'd also be with Creative Memories. I've been a consultant for three years and have always just done the minimum and barely made the minimum amount of orders to stay active. This year, however, I've had shows and crops and other stuff that is keeping me busy. I love it, I do, I just wasn't counting on this taking my time. And now there's mother's day coming up and I've been researching gifts for my mom and discussing with the siblings just trying to make a decision. Our house is so dirty...I was barefoot in the kitchen this morning and had to go put on socks because the floor was too sticky for my feet - gross, yes, but that's what happens here, especially since Mr. Quinn tests his throwing arm at almost every meal. Not only is our house dirty, but I was outside for a little bit yesterday and looked at my rose garden and well, now I suppose I should just call a weed garden. Those things are out of control... And with all this going on I still want to do more. A Memorial Day BBQ with the family....a BBQ in June with our friends to celebrate me finishing the Avon Walk (and the end of the school year). And then, I'll have two more classes starting up in the summer.
I know everyone is busy....and this is just a vent. But most importantly, I could not do any of this without my hubby. I can't believe how lucky I was the day they passed out husbands. =)
