So two of Quinn's first words included Sock and Clock.
He quickly learned that there are many more words that end in the -ck sound. And no, THAT word is not one that he's learned.
Here's just a short list of the words he says that end in -ck.
truck
back (used for putting things away, the backyard, his back, and going back to where we started)
milk
rock (both the rock on the ground and the rock you do on a horse)
Okay, so I thought there were more. I will post them as he says them. It's just that before this month I never realized how many words end in that sound. That's also the sound he uses at the end of the word box.
OH... here's a few more:
walk
talk (that's what he calls the phone)
race track
snack
Sometimes it's difficult for me to understand what he's actually saying. For instance, on the way home for the gym this morning he was saying -ock. Was he pointing out the truck next to us, which he does often. Or did he want me to take his sunglasses and put them back? He's talking quite a bit more, but it's still hard to understand him all the time, especially when I can't turn around to look at his gestures.
(Update: Here's TWO more: stick and book)
