Happy Anniversary

We were planning on taking Quinn to my mom's so we could celebrate our 5th anniversary. However, he woke up yesterday with a fever (actually went to bed with one and it was still there in the morning). We were still going to go...a little fever never hurt anyone, right? Right. But then, he woke up from his nap, which is when we were planning on leaving, covered in, well, diarrhea. All over him, his sheets, and my shirt and pants (since I picked him up without knowing what I was in for.) So...we called Grandma and cancelled. And it's a good thing we did. Quinn went through many outfits and a few baths/showers that I'm sure Grandma did not need to take care of. And I've been through MANY loads of laundry/soaking/etc. He's taking a nap right now and I'm sort of anxious to see what he has waiting for me. It got so bad yesterday he wouldn't want his diaper changed because his poor little butt hurt every time he pooped. You know how that is. Poor baby.
I'm going to have to wake him up soon...we've got a doctor appointment this afternoon. He might have an ear infection (he keeps pointing to his ear), but I never thought diarrhea accompanied ear infections. But I guess you never know.
